I guess this is rather a CSS issue how to render outline.

Labels: Needs-Feedback
The original bug report is unclear. Is the problem that the highlight is blue, or that it is non-rectangular?

On Linux, I'm seeing a non-rectangular highlight in Stable (49) and Dev (51), and a rectangular highlight in Beta (50). In none of the three is it blue.

To aid in debugging, it would also be helpful to have a simpler test case. Are you able to reduce the page down to just the essential parts illustrating the bug?
