Chrome: Street names truncated in Maps

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.87 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Start chrome
2. Zoom in on any city in maps.google.com
3. Beginning of street names are truncated and in different font sizes, both normal and bold.

What is the expected behavior?
Full street name should be displayed.

What went wrong?
You tell me!
Chrome 42.0.2311.135-1 showed the same behaviour.

Did this work before? No 

Chrome version: 49.0.2623.87  Channel: stable
OS Version: Fedora 20
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 20.0 r0

In the attached file you can compare the same map in chrome (left) and firefox 34 (right)
