Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Windows 10 has a new virtual desktop features, but it does not play well with Chrome. Whenever I click a link from something like outlook or a program opens a web page (not when I click a link from within chrome), if Chrome is already opened in another virtual desktop it will open in a new tab on that instance of chrome and will make Windows switch to that desktop. This is extremely annoying and I have a hard time why Google does not implement this feature out of the box, like does Firefox.instance of chrome and will make Windows switch to that desktop. This is extremely annoying and I have a hard time why Google does not implement this feature out of the box, like does Firefox. What is the expected behavior? Opening of URLs from external programs (not when I click a link from within chrome) in a new browser window of chrome What went wrong? Chrome always uses one of its existing windows to open an URL and there is no way in "Windows 10" to change this behavior. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 49.0.2623.87 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 I have followed the solution in this thread: "Force Chrome to open new pages in new window, not tab? (when opened from a program)" (http://superuser.com/questions/970048/force-chrome-open-links-from-external-programs-in-new-windows-in-windows-10?lq=1) But it does not work in windows 10. Content of HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ChromeHTML\shell\open\command\(Default) is set to ""C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --new-window "%1"" Content of HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\http\shell\open\command is set to ""C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --new-window "%1"" But it still reuses the opened instances.
