Thumbnail didn't draw page content completely in landscape mode.

Reported by chenh...@gmail.com, Mar 14 2016

Issue description

Example URL:
www.google.com

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. In Android6.0, open any web page(such as Google) with Browser based on Chromium.
2. Switch to landscape mode.
3. Press tab button in browser to enter into thumbnail view.
4. Then we can see the top-half of thumbnail is filled with web content, that's good. But the bottom-half is blank, which is not as expected.

What is the expected behavior?
The thumbnail should be able to draw all page contents.

What went wrong?
The thumbnail only draw the page content in visible rect, the bottom-half of thumbnail is blank.

Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes

Is it a problem with a plugin? No

Did this work before? Yes Android5.1 with Chromium 39.0.2171.95 works good

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 48.0.2531.0 Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 17.0 r0

1,While press tab button, Browser APP create a new 360*240 pixel canvas, and call AwContents.Java::ondraw(&canvas) to draw the page into this canvas. This logic is same between Android5.1 & Android6.0.
2,Android5.1 with Chromium 39.0.2171.95 works good
Thanks for your help.

I can't seem to reproduce this. I'm running a Nexus 5X on Android 6.0.1, Chrome version 48.0.2564.95. What device are you using? My UI also looks somewhat different (I've attached mine, the button bar on the bottom looks different as does some other UI), perhaps you have some Manufacturer's UI running? Are the screenshots from Android 6.0?

Hi, I'm the reporter, thanks for your comment.
Seems your browser don't change page size in thumbnail view, so it can't be reproduced...

Is the browser you're using Chrome or some derivative like Samsung's S Browser?
The Browser App we are using is implemented by ourselves, base on chromium 48.

Ah. Closing the bug as this isn't a problem in Chrome.

I think if you want to change the shape/size of the page for the thumbnail you'll need to get Blink to redraw the page at the specified dimensions or ensure the non-visible parts are drawn. Unfortunately, I don't know the Blink painting/drawing code well so I don't know how to go about that.
ok, thank you all the same.
