Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.87 Safari/537.36 Example URL: Steps to reproduce the problem: Start HTML5 video / audio send MPRIS2 message to Chromium to Play/Pause playing media What is the expected behavior? Chromium plays/pauses the media What went wrong? Chromium does not support MPRIS2 Did this work before? No Is it a problem with Flash or HTML5? HTML5 Does this work in other browsers? N/A Chrome version: 49.0.2623.87 Channel: stable OS Version: Debian Testing Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 There was already wishlist report 267590, which got closed by now. this is my foolish attempt to reraise the issue.

@rnimmagadda I would like to give a nice concrete example, but sending a dbus message is quite boring. The easiest way to demonstrate it would be starting Spotify desktop and playing with https://github.com/acrisci/playerctl/blob/master/README.md As said in the initial request, this isn't existing right now, and I'm not the kind of programmer that could pull off a nice demo.

this bug has been stale since 4/1/2016. I am marking it as StaleAssigned now. If you still want to keep it, please replace StaleAssigned with StakeKeep. Otherwise, I will resolve it as won't fix. Thanks

this bug has been stale for > 1 year. resolve them as won't fix. StaleClosed label is added. if the bug owner want to keep it, please r-activate an assign appropriately. |
