Fullscreen doesn't de-fullscreen properly

Project Member Reported by a...@chromium.org, Mar 12 2016

Issue description

I've seen this twice.

1. Go to Netflix, start a movie.
2. Click the fullscreen button.
3. Watch until the end, and when it does the picture-in-picture thing at the end, click the [return to browsing] button.

That un-fullscreens it, but the video widget stays full-sized, and takes up the entire size of the window.

I've seen it in M50ish, but I don't have a precise version number.

Erik, have we been playing with fullscreen lately?

I've been doing some fullscreen work, although this bug is a little new.
Let me test it out and see if I figure things out.

I'm having trouble replicating this, can you can attach a screencast?

I'm having trouble reproing it too. It happened twice in a row with older M50s, but not right now.

Closing; when I get a repro I'll see what I can do to get you info.

It happened again.

It was a Flash video on Dailymotion. I fullscreened via a widget in the Flash, and then when it was done I de-fullscreened using the widget. I got the failure and vidcapped the screen. I then re-fullscreened using the widget and then pressed escape to de-fullscreen and it de-fullscreened properly.

Version 51.0.2687.0 dev (64-bit).

Thanks for the recording, what most likely happened was a race condition which can cause this issue.

I submitted a CL last week that should fix this issue.

I realized a couple of days ago that the CL has a few issues of its own though (resize issue oversight) and is currently working a fix for that issue

Closing this because it's no longer reproducible
