DevTools: [ux regression] There is no way to clear console history

Steps to reproduce the problem:
Try clearing DevTools Console history (one that powers autocomplete and can be accessed using up/down arrow keys).

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
There is no (easy) way to do it.

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 49.0.2623.75  Channel: n/a
OS Version: OS X 10.11.3
Flash Version: 

StackOverflow question about it has now over 1k views: http://stackoverflow.com/q/18885409/1143495 and one of the users (second answer) reports that he *had* to clear the storage because he "maxed out its capacity".

Maybe clearing console should also clear the history?

I think we shouldn't clear history automatically upon clearing console, that would be very annoying (at least for me). Having a context menu item is probably sufficient.

This issue can probably be closed as I can see 'Clear console history' menu item in the stable Chrome (50). Thank you!
