Show something instead of a page under memory pressure. |
||||||
Issue descriptionVersion: 50 OS: OSX 10.11 If you open a tab when the system is under low memory pressure, we don't show anything in the tab – the place where the page contents would usually be visible is just white. In my experience, this blank page behaviour persist for the origin in the tab even if you navigate to a page that loads correctly and then go back. Given the Code Purple and our focus on product excellence, would it be possible to show something simple when this happens? Examples: a spinner, a message, something that looks like the sad tab page but drawn with minimal memory overhead.

This would be UI-matter rather than a memory issue.
