I'm sure this is varkha's change to icon heights.

Suspecting: r379889?
Oh, I missed that this is Mac-specific. OK, yeah, that's more plausible then.

Summary: Zoom in/out icon is seen blur after enabling the ‘Material design in the browser’s top chrome’ flags (was: Regression: Zoom in/out icon is seen blur after enabling the ‘Material design in the browser’s top chrome’ flags )
dmascarenhas@etouch.net - please provide a non-scaled version of the before and after pictures, so that I can better assess the situation. I also need to know if you're running on a Retina display or not.

Maybe I can assist. On Non-Retina Display the magnifying glass looks very blurry. Especially the plus-sign. A larger screenshot with a comparison is attached (top=MD, bottom=Non-MD). (Can't test it on a Retina Display - unfortunately I have no one :-( )

Hello mehmet@chromium.org,

Can you send a non-scaled screenshot? I would like the exact bits you're seeing so that I can compare to my screen directly.

It's also strange that the icon would be blurry on non-Retina. I need to see if the icons changed for Material Design. All of this is somewhat irrelevant because I have not yet updated these icons for Material Design - once I do they will be drawn as expected, but really nothing should have changed with how this bitmap art is drawn so I want to look into it.

Of course, here you are. If you need anything else, please let me know.

Actually I realize now that crbug is scaling some of these images up. The image you posted before was fine. Thank you for your help.

@mehmet: Thanks for your help.

As mention in comment #6: Above issue is observed on non-retina display.
Status: WontFix (was: Assigned)
The issue is that the location bar field is 1pt taller. As a result, the decoration frames are 1pt taller, and their icons are being scaled down to that slightly larger space. Marking wontfix because these bitmap icons will be replaced by vector images in the next cl. I just wanted to understand why this blurriness was happening.
