Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/48.0.2564.116 Chrome/48.0.2564.116 Safari/537.36 Example URL: AAABBB Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to the jsfiddle 2. Copy the text "AAABBB" 3. Paste the text using ctrl+v into the input box What is the expected behavior? An alert is shown, and a copy of the text "AAABBB" is the only thing showing in the input box What went wrong? The inputbox is displaying "AAABBBAAABBB" Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 48.0.2564.116 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version: This has been reported before: - https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=112279 - https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=124653 It appears to be a linux only issue. Also can reproduce on Version 49.0.2623.75 beta (64-bit) and Version 50.0.2661.18 dev (64-bit)

Able to reproduce the issue on Linux Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome version 49.0.2623.91 and 50.0.2661.18. This is non regression issue observed from M30 builds.Marking it as Untriaged. Note:: It is working fine on windows 7, Mac 10.11 using chrome version 49.0.2623.91. Thanks,

yeah, I also confirmed this wasn't reproducible with Google Chrome 57 on Linux. |
