keyboard input ignored by Chrome. It is still happening.

Any other important details:
I found a work-around, I hope this may shed some light on the nature of the problem. I no longer have to shutdown and restart Chrome. This is what I do to continue working: I press Ctrl-Alt-Del and blue Window screen shows up - I select and press Cancel. Bingo - input to Chrome is restored.
