Add device compatible gdb to ChromeOS SDK for simple chrome |
|||||||
Issue descriptionI was using the simple chrome workflow (https://www.chromium.org/chromium-os/how-tos-and-troubleshooting/building-chromium-browser) for debugging a problem on an ChromeOS ARM device and it would have been easier if I had a compatible gdb binary on my machine.

the prebuilt toolchain should already include a cross-gdb that is compatible $ cros chrome-sdk --board=arm-generic ... $ which armv7a-cros-linux-gnueabi-gdb /usr/local/google/home/vapier/src/chromium/.cros_cache/chrome-sdk/tarballs/arm-generic+8665.0.0+target_toolchain/bin/armv7a-cros-linux-gnueabi-gdb $ armv7a-cros-linux-gnueabi-gdb --version GNU gdb (Chromium OS 7.11.20160511 vanilla) 7.11 This GDB was configured as "--host=x86_64-pc-linux-gnu --target=armv7a-cros-linux-gnueabi". what else were you thinking ?
