This issue is really similar to bug 551097 (Cloud print double-sides single-sided document).

As my survey, there were many similar problems on two-sided printing. (and they are not fixed.)
In my opinion, most of cases are occurred by mismatching something between Google Cloud Print (platform) and Cloud Printer (virtual printer).
That means virtual cloud printers cannot download the printers' information properly.

Similar reports:
 bug 523903 - Two-sided printing not working (Aug 24, 2015)

These bugs are missing two-sided print options:
bug 576778 - no longer shows the option for two-sided printing (Jan 12, 2016)
 bug 333062 - Two-sided printing option missing in print dialog(Jan 9, 2014)
bug 278887 - No option to print two-sided with Google Cloud Print (Aug 24, 2013)
bug 112066 - 'Two sided' (duplex) option disappears (Jan 31, 2012)

The customer has the same issue whether they print from Chrome's print interface, or if we click "Print using system Dialogue".

Multiple report's related to this issue can someone look in to it please ?

Are these two printer models the only ones that are broken, or is duplex printing for all printers broken? The bug was reported with the system print dialog. How about with print preview? (just ctrl + p)

Well, it just happens we have a M401DN printer here. We'll try printing with Windows 7 and Windows 10.
Labels: Needs-Feedback
Tested with an HP LaserJet 400 M401dne printer. Driver: HP Universal Printing PS (61.190.1.21178, UPD version 6.3.0.21178). Cannot reproduce on either Windows 7 or Windows 10 on current Stable when printing from the system dialog or from print preview.

Is this still broken on Chrome 56? If so, what drivers are you using for the HP printer?
Status: WontFix (was: Untriaged)
Closing as we cannot reproduce and have not heard back. Please comment if this issue is still a problem in Chrome 57+.
