Music unmutes momentarily during tab close

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.75 Safari/537.36

Example URL:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Browse the URL. Notice there is music playing. Right click on tab: Mute tab. Music stops.
2. Finish browsing the tab. Click on the tab's "X".
3. Tab closes, but in the process half a second of music is again heard!

What is the expected behavior?
Tab closes without any music returning.

What went wrong?
Even a fraction of a second of music returning is alarming and wakes people in the same room up.
