::content[attr] syntax broken in M49

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Load http://jsbin.com/qelepuwiha/2/edit?html,output

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Blue text in an orange box
Actual: Blue text with a white background

This used to work before M49, and works in M51.

This syntax looks invalid as a selector. If it did work, I think it was a bug in Blink.

I think the correct syntax is:

*[select="[attr]"]::content > *

Assigning @kochi, just in case.
