From BluetoothAdapter:

Called when the value of a characteristic has changed. This might be a
result of a read/write request to, or a notification/indication from, a
remote GATT characteristic.

Summary: bluetooth: GattCharacteristicValueChanged should be called after reading a characteristic (was: bluetooth: GattCharacteristicValueChanged should be called after reading or writing a characteristic)
GattCharacteristicValueChanged is now called after reading a characteristic. This does not get called (nor should be) after writing to a characteristic.
