Unnecessary blank line on Google Sheets

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 7956.1.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2657.0 Safari/537.36
Platform: 7956.1.0 (Official Build) dev-channel samus

Example URL:
Google Drive Spreadsheet

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open a Google Sheet that has at least 6 sheets in the work book.  It has to be at least 6; there's no bug <6.
2. Press Alt+[ to split the browser window

What is the expected behavior?
The window splits and the sheet repositions itself correctly.

What went wrong?
With six or more sheets, a blank bar appears under the sheet tabs at the bottom.

Does it occur on multiple sites: No

Is it a problem with a plugin? No

Does this work in other browsers? N/A

Status: WontFix (was: Unconfirmed)
Can you scroll the tab using the left and right arrow ? (see attach)
Please reopen if you that did not work for you.
