Some Unicode combining character displayed as white block in web page but fine in UI

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.75 Safari/537.36

Example URL:
http://kaokao.dayuh.net/newpage51.html

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. ヽ(.◕ฺˇд ˇ◕ฺ;)ノ Observe the aforementioned facemark has white block in it
2. Select it and right click
3. Observe it rendered correctly in "Search Google for"

What is the expected behavior?
The characters render correctly both in UI and in a web page.

What went wrong?
The characters render to white block in a web page.

Is it a problem with a plugin? No 

Did this work before? N/A 

Does this work in other browsers? Yes 

Chrome version: 49.0.2623.75  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 20.0 r0
