FR: Put managed bookmarks directly in bookmarks bar (not in folder)

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:44.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/44.0

Steps to reproduce the problem:

What is the expected behavior?
Would like to be able push out a website url to the bookmark bar on all devices in the Admin Console.

What went wrong?

Will ManagedBookmarks policy work for you?
Thanks.  I had tried that before but it did not work.  Just revisited it since your recommendation here, found a YouTube video and realized I forgot the step to enable the bookmark bar.

Thank you!!!

My wish list is to have the option for those bookmarks to be loaded individually on the bar, not in a separate folder.

Is this possible?

No, managed bookmarks are kept in a folder only. I've updated this bug to make it a feature request.
As far as I know we are not intending on fixing this to keep a clear separation between admin placed bookmarks and user placed bookmarks.
Status: Unconfirmed
Fixed the empty status.
