Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/48.0.2564.116 Safari/537.36 Platform: 7647.84.0 (Official Build) stable-Channel Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Powerwash 2. Ensure two monitors are connected. 3. Ctrl - Alt - K prior to login confirm Kiosk Mode 4. Open Chrome://flags and enable --ash-enable-unified-desktop (Restart per direction) 5. Open Chrome://extensions manage kiosk applications set an application (AppSpace) to auto launch. 6. Restart system What is the expected behavior? System starts application in kiosk mode with both screens in unified/spanned desktop mode. What went wrong? After the Kiosk application loads the screen with flash black and will not load the application. If you break out of the auto launch Ctrl-Alt-S then log into the system the screen is spanned. You can also launch the kiosk app manually and it behaves as expected. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 48.0.2564.116 Channel: stable OS Version: 48.0.2564.116 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 20.0 r0

Behavior is application dependent and not all apps support the split monitor feature. Unable to reproduce original problem. Tested Kiosk with App: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/universal-kiosk/lhomibkaedgohldjinnmpljlaibjplnc with Chrome://flags: enable-unified-desktop and App is seen in both monitors. I am able to recreate this issue with the application you are using. The application (Universal Kiosk) behaves the same as AppSpace. The key is to make sure you set your device up for Kiosk mode (see steps 1-3) and set the application to autolaunch in Chrome://extensions under manage kiosk applications. I have attached a video of the behavior. |
