Chrome 49 Opening a PDF shows nothing.

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.75 Safari/537.36

Example URL:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Update to Chrome 49
2. Open Lillemuujate_murgised_tagatoad.pdf

What is the expected behavior?
Content of PDF is shown.

What went wrong?
After the Chrome update, opening the PDF would show nothing, even not empty pages.

Opening the same file with any other PDF viewer (Foxit Phantom PDF, Nitro, iSkysoft PDF Editor) shows the contents properly.

Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes

Is it a problem with a plugin? Yes Chrome PDF plugin

Did this work before? Yes Google Chrome 48.0.2564.116

Does this work in other browsers? Yes 

Chrome version: 49.0.2623.75  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 20.0 r0

Thanks for the report. Request you to provide sample PDF mentioned as we are not open the link.

I tried the above issue on Windows 10 with chrome version '49.0.2623.75' and was unable to reproduce, tried below pdf's and pdf content were shown without any issue.

ashejole, ashejole, I clicked on the same PDF files you hinted. 
Results: Chrome showed second file (cbu.edu.zm) without any issues. But the first PDF (pdf995.com) is not opened - same white page as in my attached file.

On the other hand - PDF file of cbu.edu.zm opens sometimes and sometimes not (total white page again). Strange.

PDF plugin opens in http://pdfmake.org/playground.html correctly for me. So I guess that from web PDF plugin sometimes opens and sometimes not. But PDF files from hard drive are not opening at all.

Just to note.. I'm testing on OSX, I noticed the bug is tagged for Windows.
