Issue descriptionbuild21-m3 and build22-m3 do not have a complete copy of the XCode tools Specifically we're missing the iOS simulator: Command: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Applications/Simulator.app/Contents/MacOS/Simulator https://build.chromium.org/p/client.flutter/builders/Mac/builds/297/steps/drive%20sample_app/logs/stdio We'd like to use that for some on-machine functional testing of our iOS product.

It's also worth noting that there is a find_xcode.py utility in build: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/codesearch#chromium/build/scripts/slave/ios/find_xcode.py&q=find_xcode.py&sq=package:chromium&type=cs&l=9

This is no longer a labs issue. We can close it here. Yegor is solving this in our recipe.

So... something got lost in translation :/ Only the iOS builders have the ability to xcode select for themselves. Otherwise the bots do need XCode installed on them by labs. I know labs is working on something to do download-on-demand for XCode versions, but it would be available as an infra provided tool/service that's not currently there. I thought (for some reason) that the flutter bots were in the blessed pool already.

Re: Robbie's comment (#6). Does this mean that even once Yegor fixes our recipe to find xcode in the proper way, it won't find it? https://codereview.chromium.org/1768473002/ If so, presumably I'm no longer the proper owner. :)

Re: my comment above. We can add back Infra-Labs if necessary.

I haven't worked on Chromium for almost 2 years, sorry.
