Not showing viewport sizing

Chrome Version       : 49.0.2623.75
OS Version: Linux 3.19.0-37-generic #42~14.04.1-Ubuntu x86_64 GNU/Linux

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the chrome developer tools
2. Change the viewport dimensions 
3. The viewport dimensions suited on the right-upper corner doesn't appear

What is the expected result?
Show the viewports dimensions

What happens instead of that?
They're not showed

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

What viewport dimensions?  Is this from your window manager?

I have the same issue with 49.0.2623.87 m

Google Chrome Version 49.0.2623.87 (64-bit) on OX Yosemite Version 10.10.4. I have the same issue.

Same issue. I use this feature daily, in fact sometimes i only open de Dev Tools to see the size of the viewport to work in the CSS. Please fix it.

This is really frustrating. The viewport dimensions overlay was unbelievably helpful and crucial to my workflow. Please fix this feature/re-add it (whichever is appropriate)!

Is it not shown in the developer console under the Elements tab?  The bottom right shows several nested rectangles and inside is a set of dimensions.

We all know about that box, but often you need to scroll down to reach it, with JS sometimes you have to scroll again and again because something changed, and even if what I just stated won't be true that box (although certainly useful in other circumstances) is not nearly as useful and immediate as the viewport.
