Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/48.0.2564.116 Safari/537.36 Example URL: http://s.codepen.io/chriscoyier/debug/16ced6d93a808a33469c68338eb5ed6d Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Having a an element with mix-blend-mode (any value) and an off-screen element. (e.g. a span with position: absolute; top: -9999px; left: -9999px;) 2. Apply position: fixed; to that element 3. Element will disappear instead of blend What is the expected behavior? Element should blend. (As it will, if the element doesn't contain an off-screen element). What went wrong? Element disappears, rather than blend. Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers? N/A Chrome version: 48.0.2564.116 Channel: n/a OS Version: OS X 10.11.3 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 20.0 r0 It seems unusual since it's the off-screen element that triggers the disappearing. This doesn't disappear the element in Firefox or Edge.

I can't repro this on M49/M50. Tentatively marking as Blink>Paint since it involves elements disappearing.

Uhmmmm. I went to shoot a screencast of this and I can't get it to do it anymore. I swear I tried it a million times in both Stable and Canary. I'd say just close this and if I can reliably reproduce it again I'll shoot a proper video and attach it.
