Issue descriptionChrome Version:50.0.2661.11 (Official Build) d99fa8d200178bce07b02a15d79512e7236088ee-refs/branch-heads/2661@{#51} 32/64-bit. OS: All (Win 7 Aero enabled) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Launch chrome and navigate to http://www.michaelkors.com 2. Scrolldown the page and Click on textarea under 'Sign up for our E-mails' / 'Visit a store in your area' 3. Type any alphabet like 'g' and observe. Actual: Entered text is seen chopped on click on the textarea Expected: Entered text should not be seen chopped. This is non regression issue, seen from 'M 31' (i.e. 31.0.1600.1) Note: This is working fine in Mozilla Firefox, IE browser.

Can't reproduce this in Chrome 49 or 50 on linux. The "g" appears to be fine.

With response to comment #3: Entered text does not seem chopped but the height of the cursor w.r.t. inner textbox which appears click on textfield/area is not proper. Please refer the screenshot.

Thanks. I reproduced the issue locally. I think this works as intended. The caret height is very normal, but outline-offset CSS property is -2px only on Chrome, and it renders black box on focus. So the rendering result looks not nice. |
