Issue descriptionChrome Version:50.0.2661.11 (Official Build) d99fa8d200178bce07b02a15d79512e7236088ee-refs/branch-heads/2661@{#51} 32/64-bit. OS: All (Win 7 Aero enabled) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Launch chrome and navigate to https://extensions.apple.com/ 2. Observe the 'ExtensionSearchField'. Actual: Weird overlapping of search icon and ghost text is observed. Expected: 'ExtensionSearchField' should be proper. This is non regression issue, seen from 'M 31' (i.e. 31.0.1600.1) Note: This is working fine in Mozilla Firefox browser.

Not *really* a bug. Apple just used a background image on the <input> field, and it's too big, so the placeholder text overlaps. I guess Firefox places their placeholder text a little different so it fits |
