chrome.pageAction icon is no longer displayed in omnibox

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.75 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Install extension 2. n/a 3. n/a What is the expected behavior? paageAction should be displayed in omnibox. What went wrong? paaeAction is not displayed in omnibox but it is instead displayed all time (in the area next to omnibox). Seems paageAction is treated similar to browserAction icon. I have "Bookmark Manager" by Google installed. It is an extension that replaces the built-in bookmark manager with a better one (it was the built-in bookmark manager for a short period, before being reverted and offered as an extension). Because of this change, the bookmark icon isn't in the omnibox anymore. So now any replacement for the bookmark manager have an annoying disadvantage. Same thing here. Closed chrome completely and when opened it again it stopped showing any pageAction button and showed browserAction instead. Also it ___showed buttons other many other extensions which neither had pageAction or browserAction___. So once Chrome was loaded I got like 5+ browserAction buttons instead of 2 I am using. Seems like this might be related to "Developer Mode" which shows buttons of extensions on load even if they do not have browserAction. Could it suddenly show button for normal extension and broke pageAction?

Just got same on my wife's computer and she doesn't have Developer Mode enabled.
