I am able to repro this issue on Mac as well. The repro direct .mp3 is at http://www.croire.com/var/croire/storage/original/audio/ef9e3d5efeee295c8e8ff12d83ccb159.mp3 when download this .mp3 locally and play in Chrome, it works normally. Dale, can you take a look?

Error is: "Failed loading buffered resource using range request due to invalid server response. HTTP status code=206" => hubbe@ to see if there's anything actionable here.

The server is returning a 206 response, but no content-range header, which the standard says is required. (Unless you use a multipart/byte-ranges content type.)
