Set Chrome Audio Device Feature Request

Reported by thehartt...@gmail.com, Mar 2 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/48.0.2564.116 Safari/537.36

Example URL:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
I was instructed to post this here after my original submission at https://productforums.google.com/forum/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=footer#!msg/chrome/cdO-kihQpeI/sbB1iN2xCAAJ

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
I understand that in it's current build Chrome does not possess the ability to set the audio device used by Chrome. I have not found an extension that adds this functionality, as it seems it would require core architecture changes in Chrome.

Can we look at implementing that option? Just a little drop down under advanced settings for setting the audio device chrome uses.

Thanks
