Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/48.0.2564.116 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Xfce uses ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xsettings.xml file to store X server settings. Chrome doesn't respect "Hinting style" (hinstyle) option. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? Chrome only uses /etc/fonts/fonts.conf to check font settings. I can't set low hinting instead of full hinting, fonts look scary Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 48.0.2564.116 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 20.0 r0

Chrome does not use xfce. Thus its settings have no effect on Chrome. Use fonts.conf instead. |
