Issue descriptionChrome Version: 51.0.2663.0 (Official Build) 5c3e3aa16e4d6f592742fff247fe2d591c170fd6-refs/heads/master@{#378159} 32/64 Bit. OS: All (Win 7 Aero-Enabled) Steps: 1. Launch chrome and navigate to http://google.com/ 2. Type any random error text for eg. dsfdfsedwgd 3. Right click on the text box >> go to 'Writing Direction' >> select 'Right to Left' and observe. Actual: Red underline remains in the same position. Expected: Red underline should be under the text. This is a non regression issue seen from M-36, build no. 36.0.1951.0, before this build 'Writing Direction' feature was not supported in chrome.

Having investigated on the issue, here are some of the observations. For "Red underline remains in the same position." : This is because there is a separate div that exists with text as typed and colour as transparent even after changing the direction from ltr to rtl. The red underline in the same position highlights the spellcheck on that. Reference : issue_underline_same_position.png For not having Red underline under the text after changing the direction. This is because from content side, spellcheck=false when direction=rtl Reference : issue_not_underline_new_position.png I don't think this is not a bug, so can we close it?
