Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/48.0.2564.116 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. open dev tools elements panel 2. start expanding dom nodes 3. keep expanding dom nodes 4. keep expanding dom nodes 5. keep expanding dom nodes What is the expected behavior? It would be very useful to allow expanding nodes in the elements panel, either a just sub set or the whole document (like with to view source) What went wrong? you can only expand manually node by node Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 48.0.2564.116 Channel: n/a OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 20.0 r0

Yes context menu seems perfect for this. Good call.

https://codereview.chromium.org/1998723003/ Do you think the labels "Expand subtree"/"Collapse subtree" make sense for recursive actions? Would it make sense for: - Expand can always visible, even if node's subtree is partially or fully expanded - Collapse to be visible only when node is partially or fully expanded
