i saw one yesterday, then didnt reproduce. today it happened 4 times in a row, so i installed gdb packages and got a trace. since then, it hasnt happened again :S

Does the browser just crash itself while sitting idle or did you take some action, like closing a tab? Anyone want to look at the stacktrace?

two of the times it was restoring previously crashed session. the other two was seconds after opening a tab. cant really tell what the address was

Looks like the NotificationService is NULL. It would be helpful to see _all_ thread stacktraces, not just the current one. Please run `thread apply all bt` in gdb.

That's a SIGPIPE. You should ignore that in gdb. See if you can repro the NotificationService crash and post that.
