This issue might be a duplicate of issue 515149 . Can you reproduce the issue on other programs?

i had install a plugin and changed my font so its back to normal but still got issue on some site otherwise without the plugin the font is still weird :/

What plugin did you install? Also, to confirm, when you go to Chrome settings->Advanced settings->customize fonts, what are the fonts listed there?
,
Aug 6 2015
This should happen only if the default Chrome or Windows system fonts have been changed. Please do the following: 1. Paste this URL into the omnibox: chrome://settings/fonts 2. Leave a comment or attach a screenshot listing the font selected for: * Standard font * Serif font * Sans-serif font * Fixed-width font

To narrow down problem further can you please attach reg_fonts.txt generated from following command. reg query "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts" >reg_fonts.txt

Able to reproduce on Current stable(44.0.2403.130) and Beta(45.0.2454.26) channel, The same works fine on Chrome dev(46.0.2471.2) and Canary(46.0.2473.0) channels.

Please open cmd.exe run the following command: reg query "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts" >reg_fonts.txt That will generate a file named reg_fonts.txt. Please attach that file to your comment, because we need to know how your font settings differ from the fonts that Microsoft provides by default.

This is probably already fixed since M49 in which we switched to DirectWrite FontProxy. I am closing this, please reopen if you are still facing issues. It is probably related to issue 593262 .

Agreed, likely fixed by the proxy update, and in any case this is not actionable without the reg_fonts output.

Hi. I'm running Windows 10 in VirtualBox with resolution cca 1920x1100. Attached is the output of reg query "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts" >reg_fonts.txt I don't think it's the problem of only Chrome. Windows 10 font rendering is generally fucked up even on real machines I encountered. But some apps use some kind of secret sauce (like File Explorer) and the fonts look OK.

This happened to me, just now. After Windows update, Chrome now uses the last font I installed to render tabs, interface text and menus. Nowhere else is my font changed. Just Chrome. Not good. |
