Thanks for the bug report. This is the same crash as issue 48942
that you filed today, right?

BUGabundo: is this crash a regression? In other words, did Chrome not crash under the
same condition before you filed this bug report on Jun 07, 2010?

mbelshe,agl,vandebo,cbentzel: I cc'd you because you've changed http_network_transaction.cc
recently. I have better info on this crash in
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=48942#c2
http_network_transaction.cc:1357 on June 07, 2010 was the same as what I showed
in that comment.

I set up a proxy server with Digest authentication (because I don't have the ISA server).
Unfortunately I can't reproduce this crash with my proxy server. But it does show
that the server (https://f.bugabundo.net or https://ourdoings.com) is TLS-intolerant,
so Chrome does a SSLv3 fallback, which needs to redo the proxy tunnel setup. This
is all I know...

I looked at the changes to http_network_transaction.cc before Jun 07, 2010. A
likely suspect is mbelshe/vandebo's r48173:

------------------------------------------------------------------------
r48173 | mbelshe@chromium.org | 2010-05-25 12:25:04 -0700 (Tue, 25 May 2010) | 9 lines

Eliminate the establishing_tunnel_ internal state and move to explicit
states in the state machine for proxy tunnel establishment.

Original work from svandebo.

vandebo, could you take a look at this bug?

vandebo: why is this bug a duplicate of issue 49197 ?
The crashed occurred in a different method of
HttpNetworkTransaction, and this bug was filed on June 7.
Maybe it's superficial, but it looks like the same bug, and I can repro the other report.

Sorry, it is just superficial. I saw NSS error code -12229, net_error -107 on the other bug too.

vandebo i managed to access that website between both reports, so maybe one of them is a regression, but i cant be totally sure
a month is a long time in daily releases of software :S

maybe we should close this one, and track the newest one
