screen corruption and images distorced

Chrome Version       : 6.0.423.0 (48687)
URLs (if applicable) : gmail.com; androidpt.com
Other browsers tested:
  Firefox 3.6 & 3.7: OK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. browser gmail
OR
2. browse androidpt.com

What is the expected result?
pages to load fine

What happens instead?
i see image corruption in gmail, lost of Star, distorced images in 
androidpt.com

started on last night daily build
reproducable in two different PCs, running ubuntu maverick 64bits with 
nvidia blob and Debian unstable 64 bits with ati open source driver

not sure its related but gdb says the following:

Program received signal SIGPIPE, Broken pipe.

Yeah I get the same image corruption when I use the zoom function, hit ctrl-0 for 
default zoom and the images clear up.

thanks for confirming and tracking down the cause.
I can now easilly replicate it :)

this seems to be fixed with one of last weeks builds!
