Issue 378420: Chrome redraws itself over other workspaces

Reported by, May 28 2014 Project Member

Issue description

Version: 34.0.1847.137 (Official Build 268882)
OS: Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run Chrome inside Xmonad
2. Switch workspaces so Chrome is no longer visible
3. Wait

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Whatever windows I have on the new workspace should remain visible.

Instead, Chrome redraws itself over my current windows. It wants to be on top no matter what. The only fix I've found for this so far is to run xcompmgr, which has other drawbacks

Please get Chrome to respect x window boundaries properly.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
