UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_8_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/30.0.1599.14 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open multiple tabs with Command+T (20+ x-close shout disappear) - they can be empty
2. Click some random tab (not last one)
3. Try close tab clicking x (close-button)

What is the expected behavior?
Tab should close

What went wrong?
Tab isn't closing.

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 30.0.1599.14 Channel: dev
OS Version: OS X 10.8.4
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 11.8 r800

Command+W works, and so does close-button if first clicking somewhere at content area.

First noticed this problem when upgraded from OS X 10.7.x to 10.8.3. (This happened around Crome 28 beta).

Windows 7 and Ubuntu 13.04 does not have this problem.

I can't reproduce it with latest Canary on OSX 10.8.4.

Can you please try it with latest Canary? Download from https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/canary.html

Do you use a retina display?

Thanks in advance?
Yes, latest Canary has also this problem.

I have tested this with Mid-2010 (non retina) and Early 2013 (retina) MacBook Pros. Both 15"

Having Chrome window recused to minimum width, and opening only 6 (7 to be sure) tabs and then selecting any tab from left and trying to close it right after selecting it (without taking focus of form tab) will make this bug to appear.

For some reason close-button disappears when 5 tabs is opened (like it should) but selecting some tab from left does not make bug appear, only after opening one more tab closing stops working correctly.

Also including video (28s), from s18 I really try to close tab multiple times, and after clicking "content" closing is possible.

At monday I could test this also with some OS X 10.7.x versions.

Thanks for your feedback and the video.

I tried to reproduce this issue with a lot of open tabs.

What I noticed is, when I close the tabs one after one starting clicking on the close button e.g. from the 5th tab on, the tabs are going larger (and do not stay on their actual size). Because of that, after the 3rd or 4th closed tab, it is not possible to click on the close button without moving the mouse cursor.

I think this happens, when we have a lot of tabs open and they do not fit on the tabstrip and they are out of the view on the right side. (You see that in my video, because the NewTabButton is under the fullscreen button.

A video is attached.

Able to reproduce the issue as per the steps mentioned in comment #3 and observed that issue exists from M24 (24.0.1300.0).

Removing the bisect label, please add again if required
