Change description: The inputmode content attribute is an enumerated attribute that specifies what kind of input mechanism would be most helpful for users entering content into the form control. Changes to API surface: Links: http://www.w3.org/html/wg/drafts/html/master/forms.html#attr-fe-inputmode Public standards discussion: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-whatwg-archive/2013Feb/0078.html http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-webapps/2013AprJun/0841.html Support in other browsers: Internet Explorer: some level of support, it seems (inputmode = "lating digits" for instance is apparently working) Firefox: yes but based on a previous version of the spec (incompatible with the current spec; renamed as x-inputmode for the time being). Safari: no. Opera: no. Tentatively, M30 for a behind the flag implementation. OS-All with fallbacks where the OS can't support certain operations. (background: availability of inputmode is relevant for the IME API)

This issue likely requires triage. The current issue owner maybe inactive (i.e. hasn't fixed an issue in the last 30 days). It has also not been modified in a year (prior to this update). Thanks for helping out! -Anthony
