"aw snap" confirmed using chrome (Developer Build 27360) under windows

what a neat demo! yes the site says " It only works slightly in Safari<4 and Chrome
because of their lacking support of CanvasContext.getImageData (because of this,
images cannot be grayscaled)." dimitri any chance this is relatively easy to add? It
doesn't seem urgent to me, more like a nice to have. an appears to be an issue with our
port of webkit since it works on the most recent Safari.

There are really two unrelated issues here:

1) the crash and
2) CanvasContext.getImageData support

While we may not implement a feature, we should never crash. A crash is always a P1. Unimplemented feature can be
P2 or P3.

Looking at the stack trace of the crash, this site provides an excellent repro of this: http://crash/reportdetail?
reportid=1c0593f757c40cde. Thanks for the report, remy.rakic.

The stack trace is in V8, so assigning to ager.

As for the getImageData support, we do indeed support it. Author's note is out of date, probably referring to Chrome

This site immediately causes my version of Chrome to silently Crash.
which version of chrome are you using? It actually works perfectly for me. I was
planning on contacting the site owner to ask him to remove the warning that it doesn't
work in chrome.
This is currently only fixed in 4.0 trunk. For stable 3.0 it requires that V8 is
updated to
