I can confirm this behaviour with Chromium Dev 26.0.1380.0 on Ubuntu 12.04 x64. There are also other problems on this test site with like e.g. "Complex number" and "multiscripts & greek alphabet". Compare the site https://eyeasme.com/Joe/MathML/MathML_browser_test with Firefox 18 and see what's wrong rendered.

This was fixed last September in WebKit (http://trac.webkit.org/changeset/155797) so this is now a duplicate of https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=152430

Wontfix, we removed mathml a couple years ago now.
