Add Caladea to Chrome OS

Reported by joshwoodward@chromium.org, Jan 8 2013

Issue description

- Add Caladea to the preinstalled fonts for Chrome OS.
- Add the Caladea alias to Chrome since Chrome Office Viewer does not do any mapping from original C* font to Caladea.

Ping? Are we getting closer on this?

Moving all non essential bugs to the next Milestone.

I'd still like to land this if possible for Quickoffice's sake. @jshin, any update?

This issue is Pri-1 but has already been moved once, therefore lowering to Pri-2 and moving to next milestone.

Ping? Is this on track for M-27?

The skia change is landed. When skia rolls in to a version including that change, ChromeOS will have it. The ChromeOS change is the commit que and will land soon.

The test case is at http://i18nl10n.com/chrome/caladea.html (the 1st two sections should be identical).

Add Caladea (regular, bold, italic, bold italic) font.

Caladea is metric-compatible with Cambria. (Its repertoire is smaller,
though). A few more metric-compatible fonts will be added down the load
so that I made a new package (crosextrafonts) for them.

Listed crosextrafonts in the chromeos-fonts ebuild file.

The corresponding Skia change is at

BUG= chromium:168879
TEST=Go to a page using Cambria and make sure Caladea (instead of 'Arimo') is
used.

Sorry for off-topic, but I dont know better place.

Could somebody explain what is the status of Caladea & Carlito fonts (this bug and https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=280557 )?

I would like to use them (as other Croscore fonts). While other Croscore fonts has their own page at fonts.google.com, those two hasn't. More over Wikipedia says that their websites is bugtracker ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croscore_fonts ).

I think it is best to place Caladea & Carlito to fonts.google.com too because now it is not clear where to get fonts, what about their license and who is the owner/creator.

Thx.
