|Issue 152652||After restoring closed tabs, window relocates|
|Starred by 1 user||Reported by richard....@gmail.com, Sep 27 2012||Back to list|
Chrome Version : 23.0.1255.0 OS Version: Gentoo Linux, XFce 4.10 Desktop What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. close browser with some tabs open 2. start chromium 3. click on "recently closed tabs" 4. click on "open x tabs" What is the expected result? Chromium Window remains at its position What happens instead? Chromium Window relocates to the right side of the desktop. Its a nuisance nothing critical. But this glitch has been present for years, so I thought I'd report it. ;-)
Sep 28 2012,
I'm able to repro this issue (Only when the browser is NOT in full screen mode), but once you make it as full screen, then clicking on "recently closed tabs" opens all closed tabs at the same position. Here are the repro steps followed:(Linux Ubuntu 12.04) ================================== 1. Close the chrome browser with 2 or more tabs open 2. Again open the chrome browser 3. Maximize(full screen) the chrome browser screen 4. Open new tab in the same browser then, click on "recently closed tabs" on right bottom page 5. The closed tabs will be opened in the SAME position of chrome browser. NOTE: The position of closed tabs will get changed(to right side of the desktop) if the screen is not maximized as per Step#3. Ligi@, could you please confirm me is this an issue/intended feature? Thanks, Mano

Seems this is the expected behavior .Marking as untriaged for time being , need to get confirmation from devs before closing the issue.

Closing stale, hasn't been modified in over 3 years, unowned issues where star counts == 1. Given the absence of activity and secondary interest (i.e. star count reflecting only the original filer) these issues likely can safely be closed.
