Since the bug has moved few times, removing the milestone label. Please target the right milestone.

Reproducible in 25.0.1364.43 on Linux Ubuntu 12.04 for me, but is fixed in 26.0.1388.0.

tommi@: Merge fix to M25?

Since this seems to only affect linux, this API is going away and I don't know of a particular CL that fixes this issue (and doesn't otherwise change the behavior), I think we should leave M25 as is.

[triage]: kjellander, check that this works in the new api, then close this one.

glen@ since this is related to the web application (which I assume implements the popup with the Microphone Settings link), can you tell us if there's an updated web page using the new Web Speech API since google.com is still using the old?
If so, please test with that and then close this bug as WontFix.
