see this pic:

before 19.0.1061, it will show the scroll bar.

just test this in a popup extension
   <div style="height:3000px">test</div>
scroll bar not show.

if change to:
       <div style="height:3000px">test</div>
scroll bar is show.

The popup resizing logic was changed with r127824 for M19, so that seems like a likely culprit.

This is probably related, but not sure: I'm not getting overflow: hidden to work in popups. I have attached a small demo extension that shows this behavior. The expected result is no scrollbars, but scrollbars are shown. Just install it and press the extension icon.

On Mac OS X 10.7.4, using Chrome 19.0.1084.46.

In Chrome 26 you still cannot set overflow: hidden inside a pop-up on body.

Windows XP, Windows 7, Chrome 19-26.

This issue likely requires triage. The current issue owner maybe inactive (i.e. hasn't fixed an issue in the last 30 days). It has also not been modified in a year (prior to this update). Thanks for helping out!

My demo app works now so this issue can probably be closed.

Likely this is not an issue anymore, I've tried reproducing this on mac canary 65.0.3288.0 and wasn't able to show any scrollbars on the popup.
