Chrome Version 16.0.912.21 beta Is this the most recent version: YES? OS + version: Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 64 Window manager: Gnome URLs (if relevant): Behavior in Linux Firefox: N/A Behavior in Windows Chrome (if you have access to it): What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Display Bookmark bar. 2. Click on one of the folders to expand it. 3. Move your mouse to the next folder. In previous versions, this will also automatically expand the next folder. In Chrome 16 it won't. What is the expected result? Expanded state of bookmark bar should be kept when moving your mouse from one folder to next. What happens instead? When your mouse get to the next folder, it stays collapsed. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot and backtrace if possible.

Having the same problem in Chrome 22, Chromium 22, and Chromium 24.0.1312.2 in Xubuntu 12.10 and Ubuntu (Gnome) 12.10. Both systems are 'clean' in that they are both fresh OS installs as well as fresh browser installs; no extensions or setting changes have been made on any of the test systems. I've made a small video depicting the behavior here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlEZW4r9W_Y I should also note that this only seems to happen on Linux installations of Chromium based browsers. All of my Windows installations work as expected.

This is no longer reproducible in Chrome 60, nor a recent custom Chromium build. Please re-open if you see this again. |
